I know not Ubuntu, and am going on how I have to do such things.

I plug my flash drive in and then I have to issue a mount command, from the command line. The flash drive does not automatically mount up.

I have a directory in my home directory called "sdcard" and most of the time it is empty. Then I had to discover what device my system was viewing my flash drive as. In my case it is SDC1 which is most likely different from what your system recognizes yours as.

To find this out, plug in your device and review your syslog or your messages log (mine are in /var/log) and there should be entries noting the device you just plugged in.

Then after that and your directory are made issue the mount command:
mount /dev/YourDevice ~/YourMountDirectory

You may have to add a -t FILESYSTEM option but probably not.

When you want to remove the device you have to unmount it first. The command for that is umount ~/YourMountDirectory.

I use Slackware and not Ubuntu so YMMV.

It seems complicated but you will get the hang of it.

If there is a .exe you could try WINE, idk what to say I doubt many people on here would know what a "Brookstone digital keychain" is and know linux so Sorry

And according to this

http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/brookstone-digital-photo-keychain-c37462.html

It isn't compatible with even a Mac let alone Linux A Linux user complains near the bottom, saying it is a "lame" product for not just making it work like a flash drive... and I agree

It appears that the driver software can be downloaded from this web site.

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=US2-J44417&scy=US&slg=en

If that long URL does not work, try this shortened one.

You'll need to post more details. If you're lucky it will be a normal name brand like philips. Get the brand and model and you'll get the right answer.
